My belief, self-care is paramount. It is my goal to assist in all areas of life, in order for you to feel balanced and motivated. I work with individuals 16yrs old through adulthood. Whether struggling at home, school, or work I see my role as assisting you and your important others to identify goals, reflect on barriers, and build resources through your own strengths as well as the supports around you. I have earned a certification in Perinatal Mental Health and Gottman Level I. I have personal interest in the Enneagram Types and find significant value in its use to raise insight on an individual and relational level. In addition to working with adults, my 19+ years working with children has granted significant experience with individual as well as family therapy. These opportunities have been with acute clients as well as those going through life transitions needing a little guidance. I value the importance of a systems approach that not only looks at the client but the many areas of their life. I believe in the importance of reflecting not only on client needs but the impact that comes from their surrounding environment (family, workplace, school, peer relationships, etc).

Great therapy is a sacred, unique, and mutually respectful relationship. My approach is holistic in nature, seeking to balance the mind, body and spirit. There is no one approach for everyone, so I utilize many forms of therapy with clients, allowing a person-centered, humanistic, and eclectic approach. I also incorporate aspects of spirituality if desired, and am open to all beliefs. I mainly work with adults and teens. My therapy is intuitive and empathic, which invites individuality to shine. I am trauma-informed and practice EMDR and IFS. I am grateful to work with a diverse population and approach everyone through a multicultural lens. I utilize Psychotherapeutic Reiki at times. I've also been working with many folks on ADHD issues as I am also ADHD and have lived experience with it. We seem to find each other, don't we! Regardless of what brought you to therapy, it takes a lot of courage to choose to heal and you should absolutely be proud of yourself. It's not always easy, but it's so rewarding and you will grow exponentially. If you feel like we would be a good fit, send me an email. It is an honor to be here with you.

View 4 Photos I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a Nationally Certified Counselor, and a Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher. I have over 10 years of experience in counseling and yoga, and work with a wide array of issues utilizing a mindful and holistic perspective. We are social creatures that need help from others from the very second we are born. It's a natural part of our being and this doesn't change as we grow older. Admitting we need help can be hard at times, but if we honor this fact instead of fight it, our lives are able to become manageable again.
